Modena Select Certified Organic Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar

This organic cask-aged balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy, is made from Lambrusco, Trebblano, and Sangiovese. The aging process results in a rich but delicate condiment with a warm brown color and a thick, fluid consistency. It has relatively low acidity, less than 6%, making it an ideal dressing for fish, shellfish, ice cream, and a multitude of other uses. The aroma is penetrating and persistent and it has flavors of port and madeira.
